We are thrilled that you are interested in becoming certified as a Veterinary Cannabis Guide (VCG).

​Please read below for instructions on completing the application.

​Is this certification right for you?
The following are essential characteristics in a Veterinary Cannabis Guide:
  • Intellectual potential to implement scientific rigor into cannabis-related topics
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve in this new veterinary cannabis industry
  • Communication skills & excellent rapport-building with animal caregivers
  • Communication skills & excellent rapport-building with the veterinary team
  • Professionalism in demeanor & all interactions

Pre-Requisites
  
1.   Age: Applicants must be 21+ years at the start of class
​
  2.   
Education & Experience: Two (2) years animal or cannabis industry experience. 
        Examples include: animal massage therapist, budtender, poet sitter, veterinary assistant, veterinary receptionist, etc.

​​You will be asked to upload the following documents/ files:
  •  Professional Recommendations: Two signed letters of recommendation (download the instruction letter HERE)
    • One letter from a veterinary professional (veterinarian, VCC, practice manager, trainer, groomer, etc.)
    • One letter from a professional colleague (instructor, employer, manager, etc.)
  • ​ Photo/headshot
  •  ​Resume (documenting at least 2 years of animal or cannabis industry  experience)

Tuition Payment
If your application is accepted, you will receive an invoice for $340.
Please note:  Your class seat is reserved ONLY after your completed application & payment have been received.
