Pet Industry
Staff Training

Do you have a cannabis product on your shelves?

Make sure your staff has answers for curious pet parents!

Many veterinarians are reluctant to talk about cannabis.  As a result, pet industry staff (pet supply stores, groomers, boarding facilities, etc.) are often the first to receive questions from pet parents looking for medicinal cannabis for their pets.

Cannabis (hemp or marijuana) is powerful in its ability to provide pain relief, control inflammation, reduce anxiety and more - just as seen in human patients.  However, just as in humans, cannabis has interactions with other medications, can have unwanted side effects, and be overwhelming for a cannabis-naive animal.

Make sure your staff and store managers are equipped to provide accurate information, avoid liability for providing inappropriate medical recommendations, as well as make sure that cannabis medicine continues to have a positive impact within our communities.

Pet Industry Staff Training - 120 minutes . . . . . $225.00
Ensure your staff are prepared to answer animal-related cannabis questions without incurring liability or providing inappropriate or harmful medical advice. This 90-minute discussion is intended to provide staff and store managers with practical training on the topic of veterinary cannabis.
