Budtender Training

Are your clients asking about cannabis for their pets?

Many veterinarians are reluctant to talk about cannabis.  As a result, dispensary staff are often the first to receive questions from pet parents looking for medicinal cannabis for their pets.

Cannabis medicine is powerful in its ability to provide pain relief, control inflammation, reduce anxiety and more - just as we see in human patients.  However, just as in humans, cannabis has interactions with other medications, can have unwanted side effects, and be overwhelming for a cannabis-naive animal.

Make sure your budtenders are equipped to provide accurate information, avoid liability for providing inappropriate medical recommendations, as well as make sure that cannabis medicine continues to have a positive impact within our communities.

Dispensary staff training - 120 minutes . . . . . $225.00
Budtenders and dispensary staff are often encounter questions about the use of cannabis in animals from their human clientele.  This 90-minute discussion about veterinary cannabis is intended to provide education on how to answer veterinary cannabis questions without incurring liability or providing inappropriate medical advice.
