Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT),Veterinary Cannabis Counselor (VCC)
From an early age Bethany knew that her calling was to help the furry four-legged companion animals of her community.
She grew up in Maine with a multitude of her own pets and entered right into the world of veterinary medicine after her high school graduation. She obtained her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology and obtained her credentialing in 2001.
Since then, Bethany has worked with both small and large animals, including alpacas!!, in general practice and emergency hospitals. Bethany feels the best way to advocate for the health of family pets is through owner education. Many pets can live long and happy lives with proper health management and oversight of qualified veterinary professionals.
Bethany became interested in veterinary cannabis medicine after utilizing it with her own labrador retriever who lived happily and comfortably to the ripe old age of 15 years. After seeing the benefits that cannabis medicine can offer Bethany decided to add that to her resume of knowledge.
She became a VCC in 2021 and never looked back.
In addition to veterinary medicine, she enjoys hiking, having successfully summited Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro in 2019, singing karaoke, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with her husband and four canine kids in Western Massachusetts.
