Erik Amazonas, DVM, PhD
Professor of Genetics, Immunology and Endocannabinology
Dr. Amazonas currently coordinates a research group on medical cannabis for the school of veterinary medicine at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Dr. Amazonas is also a member of the scientific board for Brazilian Association of Medical Cannabis (ABRACAM), the Brazilian Association of Medical Cannabis Patients (Ama+Me), and the Brazilian Society for the Study of Cannabis (SBEC).
